Slow and gentle, this practice helps you stretch and strengthen the body in a safe
and comfortable environment. The poses and movements can be modified and
adapted for each individual based on their abilities and physical limitations. Props
such as chairs, bolsters, straps, blocks, the wall, will help to support you in each pose
and movement in order for yoga to be accessible for everyone.
Yoga is unique for seniors in its scope and ability to improve the regulation of
feelings, create a sense of well being as well as improve the ability to move and
function in day-to-day life.
